James Waller, PhD
James is a research meteorologist with GC Global Strategic Advisory, responsible for extreme weather advisory and post-event analysis, and testing and evaluation of catastrophe models. He also represents GC on the Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety Research Advisory Council. Prior to joining Guy Carpenter in 2012, James worked with a team to define tornado-prone regions for the National Building Code of Canada, and also reviewed Canadian snow and wind loads under present and projected climate conditions, while working with the Climate Adaptation Group at Environment Canada.
Laura Bennett is SVP, eConsumer NA at Chubb. She leads the team that is building and developing BLINK by Chubb, Chubb’s digital insurance portfolio of products and services aimed at millennials. Prior to Chubb, Laura co-founded and led Embrace Pet Insurance, one of the most respected and transformative US pet insurers.
Kenneth Williams, J.D.
Ken Williams is the Head of Claims of the US P&C Operations at Munich Re America Services. Ken is a member of the MRAS Leadership Team.
Ken has been with Munich Re for ten years. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President, Cyber & Employment Practices Liability Claim Unit at HSB, where his unit manages identity theft recovery, data breach, computer attack and related cyber claims and liabilities. His first HSB position was Vice President of Specialty Claims where he oversaw the creation and management of the Specialty Claims Unit.
Rita provides consultative services to businesses and individuals in the areas of leadership development, emotional intelligence, ethics, diversity, strategic thinking & planning, professional growth, and insurance technical education. She is a keynote speaker for insurance industry and professional associations. Using a client-centered approach, Rita provides workshops custom tailored to her clients’ needs. Her mission is to share strategies to help people reach their potential.
Timothy J. Zeilman
Tim Zeilman is Vice President and Global Product Owner – Cyber at The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company. Hartford Steam Boiler, a member of Munich Re’s Risk Solutions family since 2009, provides a range of specialty insurance coverages for business, home and farm.
In his role as HSB’s Global Product Owner for Cyber Insurance, Tim leads HSB’s cyber and privacy insurance efforts and has responsibilities that include setting HSB’s institutional strategy for its commercial and personal lines cyber and privacy coverages.

Robin is a senior insurance innovation leader with a proven track record in developing and commercializing transformative technology and insurance solutions such as award winning commercial insurance IoT, Blackout Risk Model and Utility Service Interruption products.
Robin has an unique combination of expertise in technology, data analytics, insurance, product development, and commercialization. He currently leads HSB’s SME solution commercialization activities that include commercial strategy, customer engagement, product & service delivery, data and product strategy. He started his career at HSB 19 years ago. He has held various positions with increasing responsibilities in the areas of data analytics, underwriting, ceded reinsurance, enterprise risk management, and innovation.
Hemant is Chubb’s Global IoT leader, responsible for developing business strategies and services that leverage Internet-connected computing devices to move Chubb more aggressively into predict and prevent services, better align insurance pricing with exposures, and help Chubb deliver improved underwriting and faster claims decisions. He is also responsible for the success of StreamLabs, the IoT sensor company Chubb recently acquired.
Hemant has 25 years of experience with Chubb. Prior to joining the newly formed IoT division, he was a Global Client Executive in the North American Real Estate & Hospitality division.
His notable prior roles include serving as regional product manager in the company’s North American personal lines division and as a multinational risk underwriter.
Emily Donnelly, CPCU
Emily Donnelly is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and is an Associate in Data Analytics, Associate in Insurance, Associate in Insurance Services, Associate in Personal Insurance and is the president elect for the Central New Jersey Chapter of the CPCU Society.
Emily is Senior Talent Development Specialist at NJM Insurance Group with over 11 years of industry experience. In this role she creates and facilitates development programs for the company. She is a certified virtual instructor. Prior to her role in Talent Development, Emily worked as a Contact Center supervisor, managing those in the public facing Personal Lines department.

Executive Vice President, Cyber Head & Professional Liability
William A. Wise is an Executive Vice President and North America Head of Cyber & Professional Liability within Chubb Financial Lines. In this role, he is responsible for Chubb’s Cyber and Errors & Omissions (E&O) operations across North America, consisting of Technology, Network Security/Privacy, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Architects & Engineers, School Leaders, Public Officials, Media, Lawyers Professional, and Real Estate products and services.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Wise was responsible for overseeing the underwriting production and staffing operations for Chubb US Retail Cyber and Professional Liability. Mr. Wise is a graduate of Muhlenberg College and began his career at Chubb in 2001.
Steven D Lyon, CPCU, CIC

Steven D. Lyon is the founder and principal of Lyon Consulting Services, LLC, an independent Educational Consulting firm. Lyon utilizes his 33+ years of experience that comes from owning, operating, and managing a respected and profitable third generation Insurance Agency in Northern New Jersey.
In addition to owning an Independent Agency, Steve has served as the Regional Director of Education for a large Brokerage firm, and was a Regional Vice President in charge of Personal Lines for the Insurance Division of a dynamic Banking Institution.
Steve earned his CIC designation in 1980 and CRM in 2003. In addition, he holds the CPCU, AAI, ARM, AIS, and CRIS designations.
Amanda Davis, SPHR
Amanda Davis, SPHR is the Head of HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition at Munich Re America Services and a member of the Regional HR Leadership Team for Munich Re’s US P&C Operations.
Amanda has been with Munich Re for 18 years in various HR roles. Currently she is part of the team leading Munich Re US’ implementation of a new hybrid working model, New Ways of Working.
Michael Koscienlny, MBA, CPCU
(pronouns - he, his, him) Director of Underwriting at Florida Peninsula Insurance Company, Sarasota, Florida, since February 2014. Mike has more than 40 years’ experience, creating innovative processes in underwriting and pricing, in the insurance industry. Has worked for MunichRe/American Modern Insurance, Auto Club Group, Kemper Insurance and SAFECO Insurance in various roles including underwriting, marketing, sales, product management and executive leadership.

Jill Stewart joined NJM Insurance Group in August of 2020. In her strategic recruitment marketing role she focuses on identifying and developing opportunities to showcase NJM’s brand via social media platforms, email marketing and journey development with the goal of attracting talented candidates. She works closely with the company’s Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Marketing teams to ensure that all messaging is accurate and impactful. Prior to joining NJM, Jill was part of the recruitment marketing team at a large regional staffing firm for 11 years, where she assisted in creating and managing all the elements of their recruitment marketing program. She was more recently employed by a local Human Resources & Talent Acquisition consulting firm that focused on building and redefining human capital programs. Jill’s passion has always been and will remain helping others to achieve success.
Jan Scites, JD, ChFC, CLU
Ms. Scites is CEO and President of MSO, Inc. She has been with MSO since 2007 and is a member of the MSO, Inc. Board of Trustees. Prior to MSO, Inc., Ms. Scites held senior management positions at AT&T as Vice President, Broadband and Corporate Strategy and as Vice President, Business Customer Care. As Vice President Business Customer Care she managed an organization of 17,000. At Connecticut Mutual Ms. Scites served as President of Customer Service and served as President of Phoenix Equity Planning Corporation, a broker dealer, at Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company.
Ms. Scites has served on numerous boards, public and private, for over 30 years. She has been a member and Chair of Audit, Compensation, Nominating and Governance Committees. She is a member of the American, Connecticut, and New Jersey Bar Associations and is certified as a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). Ms. Scites has a law degree from the University of Connecticut Law School and a BGS Degree from Ohio University.
